I've worked on dark matter at SLAC. My main interests in this area are in weakly interacting massive particles.
It's possible that some stars close to the galactic center burn dark matter as their primary source of energy. I worked on this idea with Igor Moskalenko and we published this paper together on the subject.
It's possible that there are clumps of dark matter orbiting around our galaxy and that they could radiate gamma-rays, which could be observed in the sky. I worked on this idea with Ted Baltz and others; we published this paper together on the subject.
